Right now, one of my favorite trends is combining same-color materials with different finishes- like a high gloss and ultra matte black on black. This could also be jazzed up by using an abstract off-color thrown into the mix but used very sparingly, like bright yellow, neon orange, neon blue etc… creating a European, fine art finish.
