What is Lowen Certified?

Lowen Certified is a testing and certification program designed by Lowen Corporation to give individual installers a portable, industry recognized certification that proves they have taken and passed the industry's most demanding graphic installation testing.

Why should I be Lowen Certified?

Lowen Certified provides professional installers many benefits not found in lesser certification programs. In addition to the respect and recognition that come with passing the demanding testing program, you will be a part of Lowen's nationwide installation network. Lowen contracts millions of dollars annually in installation jobs throughout North America. Being a part of this network gives you the opportunity to bid on our installation programs.

In addition, Lowen is making available to Lowen Certified members discounted pricing on all of our product lines. This gives professional installers, installation companies and sign shops the ability to sell printed graphics, wraps and signage to end user customers for higher profit margins.

Do I have to purchase anything from Lowen to get Lowen Certified?

Other than the certification itself, you are not required to purchase anything from Lowen in order to be Lowen Certified.

Who should get Lowen Certified?

If you install vinyl graphics, whether vehicle, marine, or on-premise walls or floors, you will benefit from being Lowen Certified. If you are an installer of window tint or paint protection films, then becoming Lowen Certified opens up a whole new area of revenue opportunity for you.

Where do I become Lowen Certified?

Our training and certification programs take place at our state-of-the-art Lowen Training and Certification Center in Hutchinson, KS. This 19,000 sq.ft. facility boasts hands on training stations for vinyl installation in all applications, as well as, classroom training covering all manner of vinyl installation techniques. The Certification program is managed by industry expert Dennis Shea.

How does Lowen Certified work with the 3M Preferred Graphics Installer program?

Lowen has worked closely with 3M to create a nearly identical testing program specifically for the individual installer. The Lowen Certified Training and Certification Center has been approved since 2011 to perform testing for the 3M Preferred Graphics Installer program. After Lowen has tested individual installers at the Lowen facility, we will forward the test results for final verification and approval by 3M for you to become a 3M Preferred Graphics Installer. *Passing Lowen's test does not automatically qualify you for a 3M Preferred Graphics Installer designation ; 3M corporation regulates and awards this designation at their discretion. However, Lowen's testing includes the basic 3M requirements for the designation. The information is then passed on to 3M for approval.

Lowen offers designations for their certification, why?

Lowen offers five designations; this allows us to specify your proficiencies for both your use as well as ours.

1. Vehicle Wrap Installation Professional.
2. Fleet Graphics Installation Professional.
3. Rough Wall Installation Professional.
4. On Premise Graphics Installer.
5. Lowen Certified Expert Installer.

Each designation is independent of the other. Lowen Certified Expert Installer designates that you have passed Designations 1-4 and are an expert in the designations we provide. Each can be obtained in one test session or multiple test sessions.
